Pan Global’s Exciting Discovery of Gold at Escacena Project in Southern Spain

Recent Developments in Gold Exploration

In a significant breakthrough for Pan Global Resources Inc., the company has announced promising gold mineralization results from the Cañada Honda target within its Escacena Project, located in southern Spain's Iberian Pyrite Belt. Recent channel sampling confirmed an impressive average of 1.14 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold over 26 meters from just beneath the surface. This discovery is a strong indication of potential for a large-scale deposit, encapsulated within a 3-kilometer-long gravity and electromagnetic anomaly.

Results from Continuous Channel Sampling

During 2025, a historical mine tunnel at the Cañada Honda site was investigated using continuous twin saw-cut channel sampling. The sampling revealed a broad zone of near-surface gold mineralization, registering grades of 1.64 g/t over 6 meters and an even more striking 2.52 g/t over another 6 meters. These results extend 150 meters up-dip from the nearest drilling points, marking a significant exploration advantage. According to Tim Moody, President and CEO of Pan Global, these results demonstrate considerable potential for a more extensive copper-gold system as the exploration progresses.

Future Exploration Plans

With the affirmation of these findings, Pan Global is set to initiate a Phase 2 exploration drill program at the Cañada Honda site in 2026. The upcoming efforts include extensive surface geochemical sampling aimed at evaluating the lateral spread of the near-surface gold mineralization. This groundwork will also involve detailed geological mapping and structural analysis to accurately refine drill targets. There are plans for possible step-out drilling to target both surface expansions and deeper mineralization associated with the VMS-style copper-gold deposits. These incremental steps aim to unveil additional mineralization potential hidden beneath the surface.

Expansion of Project Areas

Pan Global is not just focusing on Cañada Honda; the company has broadened its reach, with the Escacena and Escacena South Project areas expanding from 5,760 hectares to over 10,000 hectares following recent mineral rights awards. It is critical to note that this expansion enhances the potential for identifying new mineral resources. Furthermore, this area is strategically located near the Riotinto mine and adjacent to former mining sites where Grupo México is beginning underground development.

Closing Thoughts

As Pan Global Resources continues its pioneering efforts in gold and copper exploration, the enthusiasm surrounding the Escacena Project is palpable. With positive assay results already lending credibility to the prospect of significant mineral deposits, the company stands at a pivotal juncture. The focus on safe operations and environmental respect underscores its commitment to sustainable mining practices, setting high expectations for the upcoming exploration activities. Investors and stakeholders alike are keenly watching as the potential of the Cañada Honda target unfolds.
