The All Japan Cheer Dance Championship 2025



The All Japan Cheer Dance Championship 2025 took place from November 29 to December 1 at the Tokyo Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, marking a milestone as it celebrated its 25th anniversary. This year, the competition witnessed a tremendous display of talent and spirit, with champions crowned across eight different categories.

A Thriving Event


This year's championship attracted a record number of participants, seeing 897 teams with about 7,927 dancers compete. After rigorous preliminaries held in five regions, 367 teams made it to the finals, battling it out with heartwarming performances. The level of competition has certainly escalated, showcasing the dedication and passion of the teams that traveled from various parts of Japan to impress the audience and judges alike.

Starting with just 37 teams in its inaugural year, the All Japan Cheer Dance Championship has grown significantly over the past 25 years, evolving into a grand championship that spans three days. The event has become a pivotal moment in the cheer dance community, drawing in participants and spectators alike.

Looking Ahead


Next year, the championship will again take place around the same time, offering another opportunity for competitors to shine. In a continuation of this year’s excitement, the champion teams will also perform at the upcoming “It's Cheer Dance Show!” scheduled to take place on March 31, 2026, at the Shinjuku Cultural Center in Tokyo, hosted by the Japan Cheer Dance Association.
