Key Highlights of Q2 2026

In the second quarter, S&T Bancorp achieved impressive returns on investment, with a return on average assets (ROA) of 1.49%. Additionally, the return on average equity (ROE) was reported at 10.37%, and the return on average tangible shareholders' equity (ROTE) (non-GAAP) stood at 14.15%. S&T Bancorp experienced a $99.0 million growth in its total portfolio loans, an annualized increase of 5.0% when compared to March 31, 2026. However, total deposits saw a decrease of $99.1 million, largely attributed to a reduction in brokered deposits of $100.4 million during the same period. The bank's net charge-offs were relatively low at only $1.0 million, representing 0.05% of average loans. This is a decrease from $1.7 million, or 0.09%, in the first quarter of 2026. The decrease in nonperforming assets also stands out, dropping by $9.7 million to $40.2 million, which now constitutes 0.50% of total loans and other real estate owned (OREO), down from 0.63% on March 31, 2026.
