Originally established as清水屋旅館, this establishment has roots that go back over 100 years. Following a transition of ownership to AlphaDrive Kochi in 2025, the inn is set to officially reopen under its new identity on April 25, 2026. With the launch of the new website, guests can easily view the ryokan's unique offerings and the enchanting surroundings all in one place.

The SHIMIZU BASE Experience
The newly rebranded SHIMIZU BASE -清水屋旅館- is designed to serve as a multifunctional hub for both locals and visitors. The first floor features a communal space known as "SHIMIZU BASE," where residents and guests can connect through various activities and events. This area can be reserved for private functions or simply visited for leisure.

On the second floor, traditional Japanese rooms have been preserved, accommodating a maximum of 12 guests across three rooms. Ideal for small family gatherings or group retreats, the ryokan offers intimate stays that blend modern comfort with classical aesthetics.
