Japan Resilience Award 2025 Ceremony

On April 22, 2025, at Iino Hall in Tokyo, the Japan Resilience Award ceremony will take place, organized by the Resilience Japan Promotion Council led by Chairman Michiaki Hirose of Tokyo Gas. Since the award's inception in November 2014, it has recognized companies and organizations across Japan for their efforts in building a resilient society for future generations.

This year marks the 11th award ceremony, and to further promote private sector initiatives aimed at enhancing national resilience, the Cabinet Office, headed by the Prime Minister, will present awards to outstanding organizations. New awards have been established, namely the Prime Minister's Award and the Minister for National Resilience Award, following regulations approved by the promotion headquarters on March 22, 2024.

The awards span four categories: the Business and Industry Category, the Local Government Category, the Educational Institutions Category, and the NPO & Civic Activities Category. Recognitions will include the Prime Minister's Award, the Minister for National Resilience Award, the National Resilience Regional Plan Award, the Grand Prize, the Runner-up Prize, Gold Award, Excellence Award, Outstanding Award, and Good Award.

The award ceremony will commence at 2:10 PM, with the Excellent and Good Awards to be given first. Following this, at 4:20 PM, the higher-tier awards will be announced. The venue for this prestigious event is Iino Hall, located at 2-1-1 Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda City, Tokyo.
