On July 31, Logic & Design held the “Vision Seminar 2026,” where they revealed the world’s first image clarity SoC, the LISr-RISA®. This innovative technology aims to enhance visibility in challenging environments such as low light, backlighting, and adverse weather conditions. The LISr technology captures faint light information with remarkable accuracy, enabling real-time image clarity by utilizing proprietary algorithms. This process transforms images into clearly visible “facts” almost instantaneously.
The compact 15mm chip, LISr-RISA®, significantly broadens the application possibilities for drones, robots, vehicles, and medical devices. During the seminar, they showcased various case studies demonstrating the potential impact of this technology on societal challenges.

In the past two decades, image technology has evolved dramatically with the advent of 4K and 8K resolutions, drastically increasing pixel counts and information capture. Designed to minimize size, energy consumption, and costs, LISr-RISA® includes additional features like noise reduction and auto focus—all integrated into one chip. Pre-made evaluation boards and camera modules are already available, providing immediate testing for various conditions.
