Celebrate Children's Day with Nadaman's Limited Edition 'Seikurabe' Bento Box

Celebrate Children's Day with Nadaman's 'Seikurabe' Bento Box

Every year, Nadaman brings a unique culinary creation to commemorate Children's Day in Japan. This time, the 'Seikurabe' bento box is available for a limited time, from May 3 to May 5, 2026. Known for its exquisite attention to detail, Nadaman aims to create a delightful experience that not only tantalizes taste buds but also reflects wishes for children's healthy growth.

The 'Seikurabe' bento is presented with a beautiful wrapping featuring colorful carp streamers, a traditional symbol of Children’s Day. After last year’s overwhelming positive feedback on its charming design, Nadaman has decided to retain the beloved aesthetic while introducing new culinary delights in the menu.

A Feast of Flavors

The bento includes a variety of dishes that cater to all ages. Highlights include the ever-popular Chicken Nanban, complemented by a rich tartar sauce that enhances the flavor of the succulent fried chicken. Another star of the meal is the Saikyo Grilled Flounder, known for its tender, flaky texture that appeals universally, making it a hit among children and seniors alike.

For the rice, the 'Seikurabe' bento box boasts two delightful options: a vibrant two-color rice featuring chicken soboro and kinshi tamago, and the gomoku rice loaded with nutritious ingredients like bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, and a touch of canned tuna salad, ensuring variety and enjoyment until the very last bite.

Each bento also includes savory simmered vegetables brimming with umami from the rich dashi, making it a comforting choice for families gathered together. To finish off the meal, a delicately crafted matcha pudding with sweet azuki beans serves as a perfect dessert that rounds out this celebratory bento experience.
