Celebrating Namie Amuro's Legacy

This year's festival draws inspiration from the beloved singer Namie Amuro, who retired in 2018. The event originally emerged as “WE ♥ NAMIE HANABI SHOW supported by Seven-Eleven” to honor Amuro’s contributions and express the fans' gratitude. Now, transforming into the Okinawa Kanasa Fireworks Festival in 2024, it aims to continue celebrating her legacy while incorporating Avro's innovative drone technology into the mix for the first time.

A Magical Experience

The drone show will be presented in two parts: an enchanting opening and a captivating ending, immersing audiences in a mesmerizing experience from start to finish. The 500 drones will beautifully depict themes inspired by Okinawa, including a majestic whale shark, measuring approximately 105m by 55m, gliding gracefully across the night sky alongside traditional fireworks. Synchronizing with Namie Amuro's renowned hits, the show promises to evoke Okinawa's pride and charm, offering a moment of cultural reflection and delight.
