In Japan, this event will also feature special guests HIMA, a participant in the VIRTUA FIGHTER Open Championship global finals, and the professional fighting game player Dogura. Viewers are encouraged to submit their questions about Virtua Fighter during the live broadcast, where these esteemed guests will gladly provide insights and answers. This is a fantastic opportunity for fans to enhance their understanding of the game and interact with some of its top players!

Details of the Open Beta Test

The open beta for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is currently available and will run until October 7th, 2025, at 11:59 am JST. Remarkably, players do not need to subscribe to online services for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC in order to join. Furthermore, registration with a Sega Account is not required, making it more accessible for everyone.

How to Participate in the Open Beta

1. Steam: Head over to the Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. store page on Steam. Click on the 'Participate in Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage Ver. Beta' access request button to join.
2. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: Download the application from your platform's store. Simply launching the app will allow participation.

If you previously installed the closed beta, you can join by starting that version once you are connected to the internet, as it will automatically update for the open beta.

Additionally, the open beta supports PlayStation®4 Official Licensed Products, including arcade stick controllers.
