The Hydrogen Supply Agreement foregrounds the pressing requirements set forth by California's Innovative Clean Transit (ICT) regulation, which mandates public transit systems to migrate towards zero-emission technologies including the use of renewable fuels for fuel cell electric buses. K2's hydrogen will be produced using a method designed to meet the stringent renewable fuel standards dictated by ICT, tackling one of the pivotal challenges for the widespread adoption of fuel cell buses in California.
