Discover the JW Garden Party at JW Marriott Tokyo
On October 16, 2026, JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo will debut its
first-ever JW Garden Party, an exclusive dining experience celebrating the natural bounty of Tokyo and its surroundings. Set against the stunning backdrop of the hotel's
29th-floor JW Ballroom, this one-night-only event promises to blend the flavors of the season with a mindfulness concept reflecting the hotel’s core philosophy.
Embracing Nature
The
JW Garden Party is inspired by similar events in JW Marriott hotels worldwide, designed to bring people together in gratitude for the sun and nature's offerings. This special dinner focuses not just on exquisite culinary delights but also on the stories behind the ingredients, emphasizing connections to the environment. As autumn deepens and the harvest season arrives in October, the ballroom will be transformed into a stunning garden-like space adorned with varied greenery.
This event will be part of the
“Two Capitals, One JW Journey” campaign, showcasing regional cuisines and traditions from both Tokyo and Nara. The theme for the inaugural occasion is
“Discovering the Nature Within and Around Tokyo,” inviting diners to explore the diverse ecosystems within one of the world's most modern cities.
Culinary Excellence
Headed by Culinary Director
Conrad Tromp and Executive Sous Chef
Ryū Yokoyama, the menu will feature a meticulously crafted four-course dining experience, capped off with a dessert by Executive Pastry Chef
Shigeru Nojima. Utilizing seasonal ingredients from Tokyo, including
Waseda Myoga,
Okutama Wasabi, local mushrooms, and fish sourced from the Kanto region, each dish reflects the abundance of nature surrounding the metropolitan area.
One standout dish is a sustainable creation featuring
red sea bream, utilizing every part of the fish, from the flesh to the scales, showcasing a commitment to minimizing food waste while paying homage to the natural world.
Enhance Your Meal with Perfect Pairings
Each course will be paired with selections of
Japanese wines and sake from renowned regions such as
Hokkaido,
Fukui, and
Aomori, enhancing the natural flavors of the dishes while celebrating local craftsmanship.
During the event, guests can expect to savor five exquisite courses carefully designed with seasonal ingredients:
- - Kanto Bonito with Garden Herb Oil and Waseda Myoga served with city-grown eggplant.
- - Risotto with Takino Gawa Burdock and Truffles accompanied by lightly fried eel, highlighting the earth's rich flavors.
