Join the 2025 Holiday Season Postcard Donation Campaign to Support Health Initiatives!

Support Health Initiatives with Postcard Donations

As the 2025 holiday season approaches, NGO Share invites everyone to participate in the Postcard Donation Campaign, running from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. This initiative encourages individuals to donate unused postcards, which can significantly impact health projects in Cambodia, East Timor, and support for foreign mothers and children living in Japan.

Last year, we received an incredible response with 4,806 postcards donated, showcasing the generosity and compassion of many. This year, our goal is to reach 5,000 postcards. Every postcard counts, whether they're New Year's cards or unused official postcards. Your donations directly contribute to enhancing health programs for children and families in need.

How Your Postcard Donation Helps

When you send in your postcards, each one can be exchanged at the post office for 6 yen per card, as long as the total does not exceed 100 cards at once. These funds are then utilized for various purposes, including:
  • - Mailing vital newsletters and annual reports
  • - Contributing to activities that support maternal and child health in various regions.

In 2024, donations amounted to 1,241,041 yen, including the value of postcards, with 10% of these funds being unrestricted donations essential for sustaining our work.

What Can We Achieve with Your Donations?

Support for Cambodia

In Cambodia, approximately 26% of children suffer from chronic malnutrition. Your contributions help fund three nutrition education sessions for families, ensuring that children have access to essential health resources.

Enhancing Services in East Timor

In the remote areas of East Timor, healthcare providers often lack the necessary skills to offer vaccinations. Your support enables us to train two health department staff members, allowing them to better provide essential vaccination services to protect mothers and children.

Assistance for Foreign Mothers in Japan

Many foreign mothers living in Japan face language barriers that prevent them from receiving proper maternal health services. With your help, we can dispatch a trained medical interpreter to ensure these mothers receive the necessary care in a language they understand, making sure they feel safe during treatment.

We are eager to receive used or unused postcards from you if you have any laying around. Items we would love include:
