Ault & Company Boosts Stake in Hyperscale Data with $5.2 Million Acquisition

Ault & Company Expands its Portfolio with Hyperscale Data Stock

In a strategic move to bolster its investment portfolio, Ault & Company, Inc., a private holding company led by Milton "Todd" Ault III, has successfully acquired 10,389,404 shares of Hyperscale Data, Inc. The transaction took place at a purchase price of $0.50 per share, amounting to a total investment of approximately $5.2 million. This acquisition illustrates Ault's commitment to enhancing its ownership in Hyperscale Data, with the purchase executed in a privately negotiated agreement with an institutional investor.

The recent acquisition represents a substantial premium, approximately 204%, over the closing price of Hyperscale Data’s Class A common stock on September 30, 2026. This significant investment highlights Ault’s firm belief in the long-term value proposition of Hyperscale Data, especially at a time when the market may not fully recognize its worth.

Following the transaction, Ault & Company now holds around 63.90% of Hyperscale Data's Class A common stock. The acquisition consists of 10 million Class A shares and about 389,404 Class B shares, all purchased from the seller without involving the issuance of new stocks by Hyperscale Data.

Milton Ault, who serves as CEO of Ault & Company and Executive Chairman of Hyperscale Data, conveyed his strong confidence in the value of Hyperscale Data. He emphasized that this investment was not merely speculative, but a reflection of Ault's belief in the potential of Hyperscale Data's assets. Notably, Hyperscale Data operates a data center capable of reaching 340 megawatts (MW) of power capacity, currently supporting 20 MW of critical IT load under contract, with plans for an escalation to 52 MW. Such capacity is crucial given the growing demand for energy in artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing sectors.

Moreover, Hyperscale Data encompasses various branches of business, including a crane rental service, a defense-oriented enterprise, a hotel chain, lending operations, and involvement in cryptocurrencies, which positively contribute to its overall asset portfolio.

Ault acknowledged that the premium paid for the shares—despite potentially being perceived as high—actually reflects only 53% of Hyperscale Data's reported net book value of $0.95 per share as of June 30, 2026. This reinforces Ault’s perspective that the current market conditions do not accurately represent the intrinsic value of Hyperscale Data.

The executive's sentiments were firm: he believes in the substantial value of Hyperscale Data, a belief he intends to act upon, pending favorable market conditions and regulatory considerations. He remains committed to potentially making further investments in Hyperscale Data, including a right to purchase up to an additional $96 million in series H convertible preferred stock.

As Ault & Company navigates the complexities of the marketplace, any future purchases of Hyperscale Data securities will be contingent on various factors, such as trading prices, liquidity, available capital, and broader market dynamics. Ault urged potential investors and stakeholders to monitor the evolving landscape, which thrives on the underlying asset potential and operational performance of Hyperscale Data.

In conclusion, the recent acquisition spotlights Ault & Company's aggressive investment strategy and strong conviction in the growth potential inherent within Hyperscale Data. Stakeholders and interested parties will continue to observe how Ault’s investment path unfolds in the coming months, amid fluctuating market conditions that often challenge the valuations of emerging technology sectors.
