A Dazzling Festival of Creativity
Vivid Sydney 2026 is set to transform the city into a breathtaking canvas of light, sound, and artistic expression from May 22 to June 13. This year, the festival's program spans 23 days and features a remarkable array of events under the themes of Vivid Light, Vivid Music, Vivid Minds, and Vivid Food. Over 80% of the festival's activities will be free, making it accessible to everyone.
The centerpiece of the festival will be the Vivid Light Walk, a stunning 6.5-kilometer trail featuring more than 43 installations and projections created by renowned local and international artists. Participants can stroll through this illuminated path, enveloped in creativity and wonder.
The festival's ambition this year is underscored by the words of Steve Kamper, the Minister for Employment and Tourism, who stated that there's no other event worldwide that rivals Vivid Sydney.
