The highly anticipated strategic role-playing game, 'Outerplane', developed by VAGAMES and published globally by MAJOR9, has just launched its latest update on the 16th, featuring an exciting new limited-time character, 'Sanzou'. This new addition not only enhances the gameplay experience but also introduces a series of engaging events for players to enjoy during the holiday season.
'Sanzou', the new character, possesses the unique ability to inflict fixed damage to enemies while simultaneously reducing their strength. But that's not all; Sanzou also increases the action gauge for both herself and her allies, making her a powerful asset in the quest to restore the distorted world of goodness. Players eager to add 'Sanzou' to their roster can acquire her through a special pickup summoning event that will run until December 30, just before the year's end maintenance.
In addition to the introduction of 'Sanzou', the revival of the limited character 'Gnosis Daria' is part of this update. The pickup summoning event for 'Gnosis Daria' will allow players to re-add her to their team until January 13, 2026.
New content doesn't stop there! An intriguing event storyline and a corresponding dungeon named 'Sanzou: The Upside Down World' are set to open, inviting players to embark on a journey where Sanzou seeks to reclaim four alter egos born from worldly desires. Access to this event will be granted upon completion of stages 3 to 5 in Adventure Season 1. The event shop will remain open until January 20, 2026, allowing players to exchange their event currency for unique rewards even after the event concludes.
As the year comes to a close, MAJOR9 has rolled out various in-game festivities. Players can partake in the 'Sanzou’s Daily Missions & Janken Battle!' event running until December 30, where they can earn event coins to claim a variety of rewards. Additionally, the 'Christmas Gold Reward Board' offers up to 20 million gold across 50 nodes, rewarding players as they progress through hard missions and special quests.
Moreover, a battle pass featuring a costume for the revived character 'Gnosis Daria' has been launched. Players who opt for the paid version will also receive luxurious rewards, including a ★3 character selection ticket.
Highlighting the richness of this update, two 'Elemental Towers', the Tower of Light and the Tower of Darkness, have been made available. Players can challenge themselves through all 50 floors, each promising one-time rewards such as gold, special summon tickets, and evolution stones.
The update also aims to enhance user experience, introducing a clear distinction between paid and free Ether, improving summary information with recommendations for allies and recently cleared teams, along with direct access from the skill enhancement screen to synthesis.
Lee Do-Arm, the head of the Game Publishing Division at MAJOR9, remarked, "The 67th update is focused on amplifying the joy of battles with the introduction of Sanzou while deepening immersion in the event storyline, aligning perfectly with the year-end season. We hope that through the rich content, including the revival of Gnosis Daria, the Christmas reward board, battle pass, and new Elemental Towers, our users will enjoy 'Outerplane' for longer and delve deeper into its world."
