Brendan Foley to Succeed Lawrence Kurzius

In a significant shift in leadership, Brendan Foley has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board for McCormick & Company, effective January 1, 2025. This transition will follow the tenure of Lawrence E. Kurzius, who announced he would conclude his role as Chairman on December 31, 2024, after an exceptional eight-year leadership period. While this marks the end of Kurzius's chairmanship, he will remain a member of the Board after 22 years with the company.

Kurzius expressed confidence in the organization's future during this transition. Brendan Foley is no stranger to McCormick; he has served as its President and Chief Executive Officer since September 2023 and was previously deeply involved in the company’s management, being part of the top executive leadership team since 2015. Foley has held various roles, including President of different divisions in North America and globally, and his extensive experience within McCormick uniquely positions him for this new leadership challenge.
