As riders set out on their eight-kilometer route, they pedaled through lush, green paddy fields that flanked the charming lanes lined with whitewashed cottages, serene fish ponds, and vibrant flower beds. "It was calm, well organized, and gave us the chance to admire scenic views and meet villagers," Farias said.
