The Unique Collaboration Gin: YOHAKHU THE REFRAMED -WINDING ROAD-

Mark your calendars for April 20, 2026, as a new chapter in the world of craft gin unfolds with the launch of 'YOHAKHU THE REFRAMED -WINDING ROAD-'. This exceptional limited-edition gin emerges from the collaborative minds of Takanori Yoda, a sixth-generation distiller at Fuyou Shuzou located in Nagano, and Antonic, a gin and tonic specialty store nestled in Nakameguro, Tokyo.

A Journey Through Flavor

This gin is not just a beverage; it embodies narratives and emotions. The concept behind 'WINDING ROAD' serves as a tribute to significant journeys and shared experiences. Crafted as a heartfelt gift, this gin is intended for a close companion who is both challenging and endearing, reminding us of laughter-filled nights and even moments of conflict that shape our relationships.

In 2020, Antonic began creating unique gin experiences, and now along with Yoda’s expertise, they bring forth a product that conveys a sincere message of celebration and well-wishing for the future of its creator’s life journey. Yoda pours his philosophy into every drop, creating a gin that offers an opportunity for introspection and connection.

The Art of Craftsmanship

The creation of 'YOHAKHU' embraces a rich blend of natural elements. Yoda employs a unique distillation method rooted in Fuyou Shuzou’s 130-year history, utilizing 11 carefully selected botanicals sourced from the vast landscapes of Nagano. This unique blend combines elements of juniper berries, coriander, and various other ingredients that culminate in a harmonious flavor profile, reflecting the area's natural beauty.

What makes this edition distinctive is its intentional deviation from previous recipes. Utilizing the same base spirits and botanicals, Yoda’s new formulation enhances aromatic directions and volumes, promising a multi-layered tasting experience. The gin undergoes a meticulous seven-day maturation process in Yoshino cedar barrels, infusing it with earthy, woody notes as a symbol of prosperity and health—a true embodiment of celebration.
