DevelopersIO BASECAMP Grants for Young IT Engineers

In a significant development for aspiring IT professionals, ClassMethod Inc. has announced that its practical education service, DevelopersIO BASECAMP (also referred to as DeBeCan), has been officially recognized as a grant-eligible program under the Tokyo Digital Academy Young Engineer Course. This initiative aims to provide essential re-skilling to IT engineers aged 35 and under, focusing on AWS cloud technology and career advancement opportunities.

Overview of the Initiative

Since its launch in 2022, ClassMethod has dedicated itself to addressing the IT talent shortage and promoting digital transformation within companies. The DevelopersIO BASECAMP was designed for individuals and has successfully facilitated job transitions to cloud engineering roles, yielding notable graduates including AWS Community Builders. Eventually, the program evolved into a corporate training initiative under the name DevelopersIO BASECAMP for Biz, collaborating with numerous corporations, among them cdc information systems and JPiT.

Given the growing emphasis on re-skilling, ClassMethod is reinvigorating its individual course offerings alongside corporate programs. The recent inclusion of DevelopersIO BASECAMP in the Tokyo Digital Academy's Young Engineer Course has been a vital step towards enhancing the careers of young IT engineers seeking employment in the tech sector.
