Years of Experimentation
Development of the Spritz cocktails was a meticulous process involving
179 trials over six years to achieve the perfect balance of flavors. Utilizing musts and sparkling wines sourced from the exceptional Mendoza region, which is conducive to producing fresh and vibrant flavors, CHANDON experimented with an array of fresh fruits, herbs, and spices. Each cocktail features natural aromas extracted through botanical maceration methods. Ingredients include organic lemons and oranges, delectable Patagonia raspberries, aromatic hibiscus, and fragrant lemon verbena.
Low Sugar, High Flavor
A standout feature of the two lower-alcohol beverages is that they are crafted without any dealcoholizing process. Utilizing Muscat grapes that are low in sugar and harvested early, the fermentation process was halted to keep the alcohol at a modest 6% ABV while blending in natural flavors to achieve a refreshing taste.
