Foundry Opens New Outpatient Treatment Center in RiNo
Foundry Outpatient Denver, a respected arm of NRT Behavioral Health, is excited to unveil its latest outpatient treatment facility located within the vibrant RiNo (River North) Art District of Denver. This new center is launched in response to the heightened demand for flexible yet high-quality care for adults on their journey toward recovering from substance use issues.
At the heart of this initiative is Foundry's trauma-integrated methodology, tailored to deliver a structured yet personalized recovery path for clients transitioning from higher levels of care or needing supportive services while adhering to everyday responsibilities. The new program features both a Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program and an in-person Intensive Outpatient Program, with sessions scheduled conveniently during evenings and weeknights.
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) operates on a rotating curriculum, allowing most participants to engage in this program for a typical duration of 2 to 3 months. One of the program's key features is its commitment to maintaining small group sizes—averaging around 12 participants. This ensures a space where individuals can build connections, foster accountability, and receive individualized guidance.
The treatment options at Foundry integrate both evidence-based practices and experiential therapies. Participants can expect to utilize techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), attend weekly individual therapy sessions, and engage in family therapy that can be conducted both in person and virtually as necessary. To promote holistic well-being, clients will begin each group session with mindfulness practices, and additional offerings include yoga sessions tied to recovery, as well as art and music therapy, and acuwellness practices. The inclusive 'All Pathways' approach at Foundry makes room for various recovery philosophies, which are further enriched by community integration and guest speakers.
Bruce Santiago, Clinical Director of Outpatient Programs, emphasized the commitment to a trauma-responsive experience, stating, "Our goal is to meet people where they are and provide a deeply human, trauma-responsive experience. After 20 years in this field, I’ve seen the impact that well-run IOP programs can have. I’m passionate about building programs that not only support sobriety but help individuals reconnect with themselves and their lives in a meaningful way."
The RiNo facility is meticulously designed to cater to individuals undergoing medication-assisted treatment and underscores the importance of continuous care through robust referral networks and dedicated case management support.
This treatment program is accessible to adults and is especially suitable for those ready to step down from more intensive care levels. Specific clinical exclusions are put in place to ensure that each participant's placement and safety is appropriately managed.
