On April 24, 2026, UnlocX, based in Minato, Tokyo, will collaborate with Livness to host the special event titled "Foodtech Venture Day NEO Vol.5 - Collective Open Dialogue Challenging the Reconstruction of the Food Value Chain." This innovative event aims to unlock the potential of food and agriculture to foster the creation of new industries through technology and collective wisdom.

Having previously served as a pitch event focused on creating new food innovations, this edition will feature a unique format where not just the speakers but all participants engage in an open dialogue—the first of its kind for this series. The event will provide a comprehensive overview of the entire food value chain, which includes production, processing, distribution, and dining out, while discussing concrete actions for its reconstruction.

To facilitate discussions aimed at systemic change across different areas, the event will welcome change-makers as panelists. They will share insights from three critical perspectives: the essential significance of retail, the value of producers, and the liberation from food waste and freshness constraints.
