The Shipsmaster Project: Empowering Female Anglers
Since its inception in 2010,
Shipsmast® has been dedicated to understanding the unique needs of female anglers. Our aim is to create functional and comfortable fishing gear that goes beyond just being aesthetically pleasing. With a strong commitment to supporting women in fishing, we are excited to announce the launch of the
Shipsmaster Project, a campaign designed to celebrate and amplify the voices of female anglers.
What is the Shipsmaster Project?
The Shipsmaster Project invites female anglers to participate in a community where they can share the joy of fishing and promote the benefits of our
Shipsmast® products. Participants are encouraged to document and share their fishing experiences through social media and other platforms, showcasing the uniqueness and functionality of our gear.
Participant Requirements
We are looking for women who:
- - Live in Japan
- - Are at least 18 years old
- - Enjoy fishing, whether in the sea or rivers
- - Wish to share the charm of Shipsmast® products and the fun of fishing
- - Adhere to fishing etiquette and rules
- - Engage in environmentally conscious behavior
- - Have an open social media account to share their experiences
- - Are willing to appear in magazines or newspapers under their real name
The initial recruitment will select approximately 10 candidates as
PetiteMasters. Following their activity period, two will then be chosen as
ShipsMasters.
How to Participate
The application period for the Shipsmaster Project runs from
June 29, 2026, to July 31, 2026. Interested individuals can apply through the recruitment form on our dedicated
event page.
Selection Schedule
- - Entry Period: June 29, 2026 - July 31, 2026
- - First Screening: Document and web interview
- - PetiteMaster Activity Period: September 14, 2026 - February 19, 2027
- - Second Screening: Selection of 2 ShipsMasters (Announcement scheduled for the end of February 2027)
- - Shipsmaster Activity Period: March 1, 2027 - February 28, 2028
Project Activities
For PetiteMasters:
As a PetiteMaster, participants will engage in activities as contract monitors:
- - Participate in promotional activities for our products (including events and fishing trips)
- - Submit at least five fishing reports during the activity period
- - Share their experiences through personal Instagram posts at least five times
Benefits for PetiteMasters include:
- - Provision of designated monitoring products
- - Discounts on PlusM products
For ShipsMasters:
In their role, ShipsMasters will also function as contract monitors:
- - Engage in promotional activities (including magazine and event appearances)
- - Be featured on the brand's website and social media platforms
- - Submit over 12 fishing reports annually
- - Regularly share updates on Instagram
Benefits for ShipsMasters include:
- - A contract payment of 200,000 yen
- - Provision of designated monitoring products
- - Discounts on PlusM products
- - Coverage of travel and fishing expenses for company-requested fishing trips
