Huawei Launches Intelligent Solutions for SMEs to Embrace Smart World Transition
Huawei's Intelligent Solutions for SMEs: The eKit 4+10+N
In a groundbreaking event held in Shanghai, Huawei's Executive Director David Wang introduced a suite of innovative solutions tailored for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The focus of the presentation was on the HUAWEI eKit 4+10+N, designed to assist SMEs in harnessing intelligent technology during a crucial transition to a smarter operational framework.
Wang emphasized that the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly vital in the business landscape. Currently, the focus is on deploying smart assistants to enhance employee productivity; however, the future will lean towards integrating AI with key production systems. This evolution will significantly reshape product models, services, and operational strategies, asserting AI as a primary driver of growth. In China alone, SMEs contribute over 80% of urban employment and 60% of the national GDP, highlighting their importance in the economy. Yet, many SMEs struggle to adopt these new technologies, facing challenges related to their awareness of AI and existing technical limitations.
During his address, Wang stated, "Intelligence should be as easily accessible as water and electricity. I hope every individual, household, and organization can benefit from AI. Huawei is prepared to assist SMEs in overcoming these challenges and fast-tracking their journey toward intelligent solutions. No one should be left behind in a smart world."
To bridge the technology and skill gaps, many SMEs are turning to externally developed solutions to effectively utilize AI. These businesses seek user-friendly systems that can be rapidly deployed and are specially designed to enhance productivity and foster growth. Traditionally, installation workers provided these solutions through complex sub-contracting agreements, often resulting in inefficiencies. Recognizing this, Huawei has revamped its distribution strategy, shifting from a product-centric sales model to offering comprehensive, scenario-based solutions that can be more easily implemented by installers.
Wang detailed that the 4+10+N framework includes four core scenarios encompassing smart office, smart business, smart education, and smart healthcare. The '10' refers to ten scenario-based comprehensive solutions launched during the event, which include facilities for SMEs, smart hotels, digital diagnostic platforms, and interactive classroom solutions. The 'N' signifies a series of premium products tailored for these various scenarios. Today, Huawei unveiled 26 innovative products, including the HUAWEI eKitEngine AR180 routers, which feature advanced capabilities like routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and VPN functionalities.
Additionally, new IdeaHub products that blend AI with conferencing, soundproofing, and AI applications were introduced. Each of these offerings boasts an integrated design for seamless user interaction and robust security features. Wang reiterated, "We tackle complexity so our customers and partners can focus on growth. Our comprehensive scenario-based solutions will facilitate a quicker transition to intelligent operations for SMEs. The latest offerings reflect significant advancements in AI technologies, pre-integrated into the solutions to improve deployment flexibility. This enables installers to bundle products according to the specific requirements of different scenarios."
Huawei also enhances sales opportunities for its distribution partners by providing faster access to resources, solution demos, and scenario-based configuration plans, which streamline the product selection and solution design process. On the delivery side, Huawei supports unified installations, centralized network management, and consolidated customer support, allowing clients to swiftly implement AI while ensuring a straightforward deployment experience for installers.
Concluding his presentation, Wang expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with distribution partners and installers to pool resources and fully support SMEs on their path to intelligent operations. "These solutions offer support in the final phase of the smart world for SMEs, and we are excited to make this transition a reality together," he declared.
Huawei's latest product lineup aims to significantly elevate the technological capabilities of SMEs, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the evolving digital landscape with AI at their core.
