Glashütte Original has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Serenade Luna, a stunning ladies' watch that marries precision watchmaking with elegant design. The finesse of craftsmanship shines through its delicate form and high-quality materials.

The standout feature of the Serenade Luna is its mother-of-pearl dial, presented in a captivating 'Skyline Blue' hue. This unique shade reflects changing light conditions, reminiscent of the glass facades of towering buildings as they capture the transition of clouds and the vastness of the sky. The name 'Skyline Blue' perfectly encapsulates a sense of endless expansion, inviting the wearer to explore the world around them.

A Reflection of Modern Femininity

The Serenade Luna in 'Skyline Blue' embodies a luxurious expression of self. It exudes elegance while maintaining a distinctive character, combining subtlety with an undeniable strength. The watch's exceptionally thin mother-of-pearl dial is enhanced by layers of dark lacquer on the reverse side, allowing it to shift from a soft silver-blue to a dramatic smoky blue. Additionally, the mother-of-pearl dial features diamond-set hour markers, and the moon phase indicator at six o’clock is surrounded by meticulously placed silver stars.

The moon disk itself is crafted from mother-of-pearl, with four circles of blue lacquer on its underside, adding a sense of depth that mirrors the sky. When the moon phase window overlaps, the natural white of the mother-of-pearl evokes a mystical lunar presence. All edges, including the sharp hands and the bases of the diamond markers, are made from solid white gold, creating a cohesive and harmonious aesthetic.

The stainless steel bracelet designs reflect modern architecture with precise lines, providing a strong presence on the wrist.

The Movement Behind Elegance

Beneath its elegant exterior, the Serenade Luna hosts a masterfully crafted mechanism. Its proprietary automatic movement, caliber 35, incorporates a moon phase function and offers an impressive power reserve of up to 60 hours. Thanks to the silicon hairspring, it remains resilient against temperature fluctuations and magnetic fields, maintaining stable precision with a frequency of 4Hz.

Through the sapphire crystal case back, watch enthusiasts can admire the intricacies of the meticulously crafted movement, like the Glashütte 3/4 plate's elegant ribbed finish, chamfered edges, sunburst decoration of the reduction gear, and the perlage finish on the oscillating weight track. Not to mention the exquisitely crafted solid gold rotor plate adorned with delicate shell motifs.

The 'Skyline Blue' edition of the Serenade Luna will be available starting March 2026 at all Glashütte Original boutiques and authorized retailers worldwide.
