The research polled over 600 mothers, uncovering various surprising insights about their essential needs on Mother’s Day. It was notable that more than half of the respondents declared an uninterrupted nap as the ultimate luxury, far surpassing other much-coveted activities such as a solo trip to the bathroom. In fact, over 60% of the mothers surveyed expressed their willingness to forgo material gifts in exchange for the precious opportunity to sleep. Alarmingly, nearly two-thirds of these moms had not experienced a nap in the previous month, and a quarter of them couldn’t even recall their last one.

Furthermore, 85% of mothers indicated that they require more than just a short catnap to feel rejuvenated; the ideal duration for a nap is generally between 30 to 90 minutes. This duration aligns with completing a full sleep cycle, allowing for optimal rest.

When it comes to the perfect setting for napping, over two-thirds of the mothers revealed that they find it easier to sleep while on vacation. Popular spots include hotel rooms (50%), the beach (22%), and serene spa environments (14%).
