Introducing JAXSON's New Bathtub Concepts: A Blend of Organic Design and Functionality

JAXSON Unveils Innovative Bathtubs for 2025

On December 9, 2025, JAXSON, an acclaimed luxury bathtub brand based in Minato, Tokyo, introduced three new bathtub models during their annual Christmas collaboration event. The event not only highlighted the brand's innovative designs but also marked significant advancements in the realm of bathtub aesthetics and functionality. The creative mind behind these models is JAXSON's founder and designer, Hideo Shimizu, who has crafted these unique pieces to embody the brand's vision for modern bathtubs.

The new line-up consists of the flagship model and two additional designs, all crafted to enhance the daily bathing experience while showcasing an organic design approach. The beautifully sculpted pieces reflect a harmonious blend of softness and strength commonly found in nature, as JAXSON takes a step forward from the traditional balance of straight lines and curves.

The Flagship Model: Fava

The Fava bathtub, measuring 1800 mm in length, 795 mm in depth, and 650 mm in height, stands out as the flagship model. It features organic curves and an eye-catching free-standing design, pulling inspiration from the shape of a fava bean. Its gentle and sophisticated lines create an inviting, organic proportion that feels both alive and nurturing. With a symmetric design, it offers ample space for individual relaxation or comfort for two.

The Convivio Experience

Next is the Convivio bathtub, which embodies the essence of togetherness through its circular design. Translating to “to live together” in Italian, this model’s diameter of 2000 mm and height of 620 mm invite intimacy and connection. Crafted from smooth, molded acrylic, it features four steps that enhance comfort, allowing multiple users to relax simultaneously while enjoying a cozy ambiance. The Convivio bathtub is designed to create an extraordinary space where conversations and relaxation beautifully intersect.

Portico: A Harmonious Fusion

Completing the trio is the Portico; a model that marries circular and square designs, emphasizing architectural simplicity and enveloping tranquility. Measuring 1500 mm by 1250 mm and standing 620 mm tall, it pays homage to the Bologna portico architecture, symbolizing the harmony between functionality and aesthetic beauty that JAXSON strives for. Featuring a spacious bathing step for half-body soaking and an optional headrest, the Portico is not just striking in design but also practical in use, aligning comfort and manufacturing efficiency.

Annual Christmas Collaboration Event

The unveiling of these bathtub concepts was held at JAXSON TOKYO and the neighboring HIDEO TOKYO, coinciding with a festive brand collaboration event. This year, the event showcased the vibrant colors of Paola Lenti's outdoor and indoor furniture, along with lighting from Firmamento Milano, decorative items by Alexander Lamont, warm fabrics from Loro Piana Interiors, and beautiful storage products from GiGi—each enhancing the luxurious atmosphere. Visitors experienced moments of delight through a cozy environment curated with thoughtful details, accompanied by music from LINN.
