C•CAP Announces the Return of the Harvest Moon Feast Honoring Chef Mark Tarbell

C•CAP's Harvest Moon Feast 2025: A Night of Culinary Excellence

The Culinary Careers Program (C•CAP) has unveiled its plan to host the much-anticipated Harvest Moon Feast on November 7, 2025, at the historic Jokake Inn in Scottsdale, Arizona. This event will honor Chef Mark Tarbell, a dedicated board member and mentor to many young culinary professionals.

In a heartfelt statement, Chef Tarbell expressed his gratitude, stating, "I'm honored to be recognized at this year's Harvest Moon Feast. C•CAP's work resonates with me because food has always been more than a career—it's been a community and a pathway." His words reflect not only his passion for culinary arts but also his unwavering commitment to uplifting the next generation in the hospitality sector.

The Harvest Moon Feast promises to be an extraordinary evening celebrating the best flavors Arizona has to offer, with more than 30 original dishes to sample. These dishes will be crafted by C•CAP Arizona high school students, who will be working under the experienced guidance of prominent local chefs, including esteemed alumni like Peter McQuaid, Aaron Davis, Jasmin Smith, Jelani Port, and Jenna D'Agostino. Each creation will compete for the coveted title of crowd favorite, with the winning student team receiving recognition at the event's conclusion.

The festivities kick off at 5:00 PM with a VIP reception featuring a specialty bar and exclusive tastings. General admission opens at 6:00 PM, followed by exciting activities, including live music from Nate Nathan and the MacDaddy-O's, engaging silent and live auctions, and inspiring speeches from C•CAP participants and leaders.

Jennifer Solomon, Co-Executive Director of C•CAP, shared, "We are thrilled to honor him at this year's Harvest Moon Feast and celebrate the next generation of Arizona's culinary leaders." Tanya Steel, Co-Executive Director, added, "Chef Mark Tarbell has been a champion for C•CAP students for decades."

The fundraising efforts from the Harvest Moon Feast will significantly impact the 8,000 students served by C•CAP Arizona in various high schools across the state. The proceeds will be directed towards providing essential career readiness training, scholarships, job opportunities, and mentorship to help students flourish in the competitive food and hospitality industries. Tickets and sponsorship options are available on their website, CulinaryCareers.org.

Generous sponsors have joined the cause, including Signature Sponsor Richard Grausman and Deborah Grausman, Gold Sponsors Shamrock Foods and Sysco, and various other individual and family trusts providing vital support for this initiative.

C•CAP is a national nonprofit dedicated to improving workforce development in the culinary world, uplifting nearly 400,000 students across the United States.
