Charat's Participation in the Future Exploration Festival
Charat, a company specializing in children's photography studios based in Kashiba, Nara Prefecture, is set to participate in the
Future Exploration Festival scheduled for March 8, 2026, organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Bureau of Environment. This event aims to broaden children's learning experiences and futures through interactive activities.
What is the Future Exploration Festival?
The Future Exploration Festival encourages elementary school students to become home environmental leaders, actively engaging them and their families in eco-friendly actions. This event is a platform for these young leaders to learn, experience, and explore diverse themes related to energy, food, science, and sports. Children will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences, fostering their ability to think critically about their future and the planet.
Through this festival, the goal is to create a collaborative environment where children can contemplate and act on future challenges, promoting initiatives that can help shape a better tomorrow.

Booth Location
- - Shinjuku Station West Exit Plaza Event Corner (1-5 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku, Tokyo)
Activities Offered
At our booth, we will present a unique workshop focused on costume upcycling and eco-flower photography. Participants will engage in crafting eco-flowers, transforming previously used kimonos, dresses, and accessories from our studios into new creations instead of discarding them.
Participants will use fabrics to create flowers and decorative pieces, culminating in a mini photography session with their finished creation. This hands-on experience highlights the importance of resourcefulness and sustainable choices, allowing both children and adults to learn about reducing waste while being environmentally conscious. After crafting, participants can take photos using their smartphones with the eco-flowers they have made.
Join us at the
Future Exploration Festival to experience a day filled with creativity, learning, and inspiration that propels the next generation toward a sustainable future!
