GLOBIS Graduate School of Management Hosts 2024 MBA Graduation Ceremony

On May 11, 2024, GLOBIS Graduate School of Management held its Japanese MBA graduation ceremony at the prestigious Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. This year, the ceremony commemorated a total of 1,022 graduates from its various campuses in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai, Fukuoka, and online formats. With this year's graduates, GLOBIS has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing a cumulative total of 10,000 alumni, marking a proud moment for the institution.

Since its inception in 2006, the Japanese MBA program has produced 9,739 graduates. When combined with the graduates from its predecessor, the GLOBIS Original MBA Program (GDBA), the total reaches an impressive 9,959 alumni. This broad spectrum of successful graduates showcases GLOBIS's commitment to fostering diverse talent from multiple sectors, including management roles, healthcare professionals, lawyers, engineers, designers, NPO staff, and professional athletes.

The graduation ceremony featured a heartfelt speech by GLOBIS president Yoshihito Hori. He encouraged the graduates to embrace their roles as “creators and innovators” with a strong sense of mission. Hori's message emphasized the importance of passion derived from personal purpose aligned with one's worldview, historical perspective, ethical viewpoint, and human values. He urged the graduates to take risks, embrace challenges, and find joy in personal growth and development.

Continuing Education Support for Alumni

In line with its commitment to lifelong learning, GLOBIS Graduate School has been offering post-graduate support through its “Alumni School” since 2017. This program aims to provide an environment where alumni can continue their education, offering specialized courses. Over 1,300 alumni have participated in various lectures that cover essential topics such as AI literacy, business planning, and tax strategies for executives.
