Applause Musical, organized by Gunji Planning, is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved production, 'Alice in Wonderland (2026)', set to take place from August 26 to August 27, 2026, at Move Machiya in Arakawa, Tokyo. This marks the show's much-anticipated return after a two-year absence, and tickets are currently available for purchase through Confetti, operated by Long Run Planning in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Since its debut in 2010, 'Alice in Wonderland' has captivated audiences with a unique blend of drama and dance, featuring three different versions of Alice. This enchanting tale, adapted from Lewis Carroll's classic, follows Alice as she tumbles down a rabbit hole into a fantastical world filled with memorable characters and adventurous escapades. The latest iteration promises to enhance the story's mysterious ambiance, especially in key moments such as the opening and climax, which includes a spellbinding performance of 'Nightmare'. Additionally, the acapella singing sprinkled throughout the show will surely leave the audience mesmerized.

The creative team behind this remarkable production includes Gunji Yukio, who will serve as the producer, writer, director, and choreographer, with joint production and coordination by Oki Kaede and others.

This year's cast features the Mad Hatter portrayed by Honma Jin, while Sato Ryuji, who excelled in the previous version as the sea turtle, takes on the role of the Queen for the first time. Veteran actors such as Takashimada Kaoru and Nagano Kazuhiro join the new company accumulated through auditions, creating an exciting and dynamic ensemble.
