BioNJ Becomes Foundational Member of New Jersey Innovation Hub



On April 28, 2026, BioNJ, which represents New Jersey's thriving life sciences sector, announced its membership as a foundational entity in the New Jersey Innovation Hub, Powered by Portal (NJIH, Powered by Portal), located in New Brunswick. This strategic partnership marks a critical step towards nurturing innovation and advancing the state's role as a leader in scientific discoveries and biopharmaceutical advancements.

As part of its involvement, BioNJ aims to bolster connectivity within New Jersey's life sciences ecosystem, encouraging collaboration among startups, seasoned biopharma companies, academic institutions, and investors. The NJIH, powered by Portal, offers companies essential access to specialized laboratory spaces, operational support, and venture development tools through Portal Innovations’ comprehensive platform. BioNJ will hold meetings and other industry events at its new location in New Brunswick as well as its established offices in Trenton, fostering community engagement.
