AvAir Expands Operations with a New Warehouse Facility in Dallas

AvAir Expands Operations in Dallas

AvAir, a prominent provider of inventory solutions for the aviation aftermarket, has recently announced the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art facility located in Grapevine, Texas. This expansive 45,000-square-foot warehouse is strategically positioned near the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), which stands as one of the busiest cargo hubs in North America.

The new site is set to significantly bolster AvAir's ability to serve its extensive clientele, numbering around 3,100 global clients. With the rise in demand for prompt aircraft parts—a necessity to minimize aircraft-on-ground (AOG) situations—this facility is poised to enhance distribution efficiencies and ensure faster delivery times across the nation.

Tyler Botthof, Chief Operating Officer at AvAir, expressed enthusiasm about the opening, stating, "Our customers rely on us to deliver the right inventory solutions quickly and efficiently. Our new Dallas location complements our facilities in Chandler and Dublin, creating a strategically located hub that enhances inventory availability and streamlines distribution to customers worldwide."

In addition to improving logistical operations, the Dallas facility will be staffed by a dedicated sales and support team, featuring both seasoned professionals and recent recruits. Brian Longmeyer, who joined AvAir in 2021 with over 30 years of experience in the industry, will take on the role of general manager, overseeing all operations based in Dallas. He will lead a team committed to maintaining and expanding AvAir's service offerings in the region.

Furthermore, this expansion comes alongside the promotion of Kevin Lenz, who has helmed the company’s powerplants division since 2010, to Executive Vice President. Lenz will remain pivotal in enhancing AvAir's capabilities while driving its continued global growth.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary recently, AvAir has been on an upward trajectory, consistently adding new clients and fostering long-term partnerships. The company provides customized solutions to buy, sell, exchange, loan, lease, or consign over 26 million aircraft parts currently in stock. AvAir holds multiple certifications, including ISO 9001, AS9120, and ASA 100, which demonstrates its commitment to upholding high standards in all events of purchasing, receiving, stocking, sales, and shipping.

As a testament to its industry leadership, AvAir has been awarded Parts Supplier of the Year for several consecutive years (2021-2026) by Airline Economics, a leading trade publication, while also being recognized for its environmentally sustainable practices with certifications from Climate Change and accolades from the Aviation 100 awards.

In conclusion, AvAir's new Dallas facility symbolizes a significant step forward in enhancing operational effectiveness and customer service within the aviation industry. The company's commitment to innovation and strategic expansion will likely continue driving its success in the aftermarket aviation sector.
