As the Japanese tradition of Setsubun approaches, Mostfun Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shin-Yokohama, Kanagawa, is excited to announce the launch of a special Ehomaki roll. Scheduled for February 3, 2026, this culinary delight will be available for reservation via its seafood brand, Musashisakai Osakanaya-san.

This unique Ehomaki roll will be crafted using only the freshest seafood, all sourced directly from Toyosu Market. The professional staff at Musashisakai Osakanaya-san will select the best quality ingredients according to daily availability, ensuring that freshness is maintained from market to table.

A Delicious Blend of Flavors

The special Ehomaki features a luxurious assortment of seven auspicious ingredients, including:

• - Bluefin Tuna (Chutoro and Akami)
• - Eel
• - Shrimp
• - Salmon
• - White Fish (such as Tai or Hirame)
• - Cucumber
• - Egg Omelet

Every ingredient serves a purpose, contributing to a layered experience of taste and texture that is carefully balanced to perfection. Reservations can be made until 8 PM on February 2, the day before orders are fulfilled.

Ehomaki, traditionally eaten on Setsubun while facing the year’s lucky direction, symbolizes a prayer for health and prosperity. The selection of ingredients this year emphasizes quality, aiming to create a joyous moment to share with loved ones.

In 2025, we achieved impressive sales with the rolls, offering 316 full-sized and 150 half-sized Ehomaki rolls, receiving enthusiastic feedback from our patrons. As we gear up for this year’s Setsubun, our team is committed to crafting each roll with the utmost care, aiming to surpass last year’s success.
