From March 1 to March 31, 2026, the Tokyu Excel Hotel in Futako Tamagawa is hosting a special culinary fair titled "Discover Fukushima" at its 30th-floor restaurant, The 30th Dining Bar. This fair highlights the rich flavors and high-quality ingredients sourced from Fukushima, providing guests with an opportunity to rediscover the taste of this remarkable region.

The fair is a collaborative effort spearheaded by Tokyo Electric Power Holdings, aiming to showcase the deliciousness and allure of products originating from Fukushima. As part of this initiative, the hotel’s executive chef has meticulously selected a range of ingredients from Fukushima to prepare various dishes, ensuring a culinary experience that emphasizes fresh and local flavors.

One of the standout offerings during this event is the "Fukushima Gozen," a beautifully crafted meal that includes fresh sashimi sourced from tuna caught by students from Fukushima Prefectural Onahama Kaisei High School, the only high school in the area with a fisheries department.
