Supporting Next-Generation Creativity
Native Camp, known for its unlimited online English conversation lessons, has announced its support for an innovative program aimed at junior high and high school students—
MONO-COTO INNOVATION 2026. This initiative encourages students from diverse backgrounds across Japan to engage in creative collaboration over a span of four days and five nights.
A Unique Opportunity for Students
The
MONO-COTO INNOVATION program invites 96 students from various regions, schools, and grades to hone their design thinking skills and tackle real-world challenges. This year, Native Camp provided these students with three months of complimentary English conversation lessons, enabling them to communicate their ideas effectively.
Participants take part in an immersive program that emphasizes teamwork. They work collaboratively in randomly assigned groups of four to five to explore creative solutions through interviews, observational studies, and prototype development. The culmination of their efforts is showcased in a final presentation, where they demonstrate the innovative concepts they've created.
Since its inception in 2015, this event has successfully engaged over 1,500 junior high and high school students, promoting creativity and the joy of generating new value in society. By acting beyond conventional school and regional boundaries, students gain invaluable experience as they transform challenges into opportunities for growth.
