Collective Mining's Impressive Drilling Results



Collective Mining Ltd. recently released remarkable findings from its ongoing drilling campaign at the Apollo system, part of the Guayabales Project in Colombia. The drilling program aims to enhance the understanding of the shallow mineralization in the area. The latest results from four drill holes have confirmed the presence of high-grade gold, copper, and silver, significantly boosting the project's potential.

High-Grade Mineralization Unveiled


The reported results include:
  • - 183.70 metres at 3.01 g/t gold equivalent from 37.30 metres downhole (APC-134), highlighting an impressive yield: 0.86 g/t gold, 44 g/t silver, 0.83% copper, and 0.14% tungsten oxide (WO3).
  • - Additionally, 37.15 metres at 7.05 g/t gold equivalent from 118.10 metres downhole (APC-136) showcasing 2.19 g/t gold and 89 g/t silver, among other valuable minerals.

Enhanced Drilling Infrastructure


Currently, the company has eleven drill rigs actively working as part of a comprehensive 70,000 metre drilling program. As the second large-capacity diamond drill rig arrives at the Apollo site, it is set to start operations shortly, further targeting the expansive Ramp Zone beneath the currently identified mineralized structure.

The ongoing shallow drilling program is set to conclude soon, with only six more drill holes remaining to provide insights into additional mineralization. As the drill results continue to fill the gaps in the internal block model, estimations suggest that the mineralized area has grown by about five percent, underlining enhancements in the geological model’s detail.

Exploration Strategy Moving Forward


Ari Sussman, Executive Chairman of Collective Mining, conveyed optimism regarding the drilling campaign. He stated, "With the shallow drill program nearing its end, we are successfully intersecting incredible grades of various minerals. We are keen to start intersecting the Ramp Zone soon and anticipate significant findings as we expand our exploration efforts."

The company is also exploring the possibility of adding a third deep-capacity rig, which aligns with their goals of investigating the Ramp Zone further along and at greater depths. Such expansions in drilling capacity underline Collective Mining’s commitment to maximizing the exploration potential of the Apollo system.

Assay Results and Future Outlook


In total, the drilling program has completed approximately 133,000 metres across the Guayabales Project, with 93,000 metres focused solely on the Apollo system. A number of samples, including 25 drill holes currently in the lab, are expected to return more assay results in the near future.

With a focus on developing high-grade sub-zones and assessing new targets, the company is poised to unlock more of the area’s mineral potential.
