Decoboco Base and Lean on Me Join Forces to Enhance Disability Support Services

Partnership Announcement: Decoboco Base and Lean on Me

Decoboco Base Co., Ltd., headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, has entered into a business alliance with Lean on Me Co., Ltd., based in Takatsuki, Osaka. This collaboration aims to optimize the quality and efficiency of support services within the disability welfare sector. With Decoboco Base’s strong foundation in social franchising and Lean on Me’s innovative training methodologies, both companies are poised to enhance the overall operational support for welfare organizations serving individuals with disabilities.

Background: Addressing Challenges in Disability Welfare

As Decoboco Base celebrates its 10th anniversary, it strives to promote economic independence for individuals with disabilities through a social franchise model, with the goal of establishing 1,000 locations nationwide. Concurrently, Lean on Me has been dedicated to spreading high-quality support through staff training, recognizing the pressing need for both efficiency and skill enhancement within the disability welfare sector. To tackle these challenges, the companies have integrated Decoboco Base’s operational management system, the “Decoboco System,” with Lean on Me’s online training program, “Special Learning.” This merger aims to comprehensively boost the management efficiency and support quality in disability welfare organizations.

The partnership agreement, which was reached in March 2025, will now transition into the 'implementation phase' as both companies finalize processes for synergizing their services, allowing them to make a significant impact in the welfare sector.

Key Features of the Partnership

Under this collaboration, organizations considering the implementation of the Decoboco System will also receive access to Special Learning. Here are the advantages offered:

1. Streamlined Operations: The Decoboco System simplifies management, assessment, and billing for disability welfare day services. Based on the experiences across 332 locations, the system is designed to significantly reduce administrative burdens, allowing staff to concentrate on impactful, quality support.

2. Enhanced Staff Training: Special Learning provides online training content focused on intellectual, developmental, and mental disabilities, curated by experts. This high-quality resource not only fosters staff skill development but also helps to prevent inappropriate responses among personnel.

3. Comprehensive Growth Support: This dual approach fosters sustainable growth and establishes a robust service quality framework for disability welfare organizations, promoting both operational efficiency and high-standard service delivery.

Future Prospects: New Challenges towards an Inclusive Society

Through this partnership, both companies are not only improving systems and training but are also committed to developing new solutions addressing the unique challenges faced in the disability welfare sector. Collaborative information sharing and seminar initiatives are also on the agenda, reinforcing their commitment to inclusivity in society. By supporting disability welfare comprehensively, Decoboco Base and Lean on Me aspire to create a society where everyone can live fully and authentically.
