Hunter Tura Joins Entro Communications as Chief Creative Officer Advancing Experiential Design

Hunter Tura's Appointment at Entro Communications

Entro Communications, a leading firm in experiential branding and wayfinding design, recently announced the significant appointment of Hunter Tura as its Chief Creative Officer (CCO). This move highlights the company's renewed commitment to design excellence and their vision of shaping interactive experiences in our built environment.

Tura's appointment comes as the first strategic hire since CEO John Campanella took over the leadership this summer, following an investment from Astria Elevate LP. With over 25 years of experience in design, including his previous roles as CEO of The Creative Organization and Bruce Mau Design, Tura is set to enhance Entro’s offerings with data-driven, personalized solutions that improve the way people engage with different spaces.

In his new role as CCO, Tura will oversee the creative direction of Entro across all its studios. His leadership will ensure the provision of innovative and impactful solutions for clients globally, as well as foster a culture of creativity and collaboration within the company.

John Campanella expressed his enthusiasm about this new chapter: "Hunter's addition signifies a major advancement in Entro's quest to redefine how design impacts our experiences in the world. His expertise will undoubtedly elevate our efforts in creating world-class experiences."

Hunter Tura's diverse and notable portfolio includes collaborations with prestigious organizations such as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Netflix, Audi, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Not only has he managed large-scale design projects, but he has also made contributions to educational platforms, teaching at institutions like Columbia University and Designskolen Kolding. He is known for his involvement in various design juries, including the Presidential Design Awards in Singapore and curating the Canada Pavilion at the 2018 London Design Biennale.

As Tura stated, "Joining Entro presents an extraordinary opportunity during a pivotal moment for the firm. The synergy between design intelligence and cultural impact speaks to my own creative philosophy, and I'm eager to collaborate with an exceptional team to redefine the future of experiential branding and wayfinding."

Tura earned his advanced degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where he completed his thesis under the guidance of renowned architect Rem Koolhaas. He also holds an undergraduate degree from Haverford College, focusing on the Growth and Structure of Cities, demonstrating a robust academic foundation that complements his practical experience.

Entro Communications has positioned itself as a globally recognized leader in experiential design, focusing on placemaking and wayfinding strategies. With its presence in major cities like New York, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver, Entro partners with various sectors—including healthcare, entertainment, transportation, and education—to deliver spaces that inspire and engage users. With Tura at the helm of creativity, they are now poised to incorporate advanced digital technologies into their projects, shaping future user experiences and brand engagements.

In summary, Hunter Tura’s hiring as the CCO at Entro Communications indicates a significant step forward in the company's mission to elevate experiential design, setting the stage for exciting developments in the near future.
