About the Artist
Rina Ohito, born in
1987 in Kagoshima, Japan, is a graduate of
Tokyo University of the Arts where she completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies in painting. Her noteworthy accomplishments include being a recipient of the
TURNER AWARD 2016 Grand Prize and participating as an international exchange oil painting scholarship student at the
Isibashi Foundation in Europe, where she briefly studied at the
Royal Academy Schools in London. Currently based in Tokyo, Rina continues to expand her artistic portfolio.
