Etoile Royale: A Royal Gastronomic Ballet Experience in Tokyo

An Exquisite Evening at Etoile Royale

The Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay, located in the vibrant Minato ward, presents a unique dining event named Etoile Royale, starting January 9, 2026. This limited-time dining experience will take place at the French restaurant, La Provence, offering a symphony of flavors inspired by the elegance and artistry of classical ballet.

A Dance of Culture and Gastronomy

Step into a world reminiscent of the opulent dining halls of Versailles during the 18th century, where music, dance, and exquisite cuisine intertwined to create a cultural spectacle. Etoile Royale draws from this rich history, combining the aesthetics of ballet and the art of French cuisine into a breathtaking dining experience.

With only two pairs of exclusive decorative seats available each day, guests can immerse themselves in the delicate essence of ballet in an ambiance designed to evoke the grandeur of a stage performance. Each dish is a masterpiece, reflecting various ballet scenes and motifs.

A Menu that Dances with Flavor

The culinary journey begins with a celebratory cocktail, Ballerina, echoing the grace of a prima ballerina. The event kicks off with a vibrant appetizer titled Palette Art Appetizer, a harmonious combination of colors that sets a festive tone for the evening.

Next, guests will savor a cold starter—a Cauliflower Blancmange served with snow crab, reminiscent of the serene dance of Swan Lake. The warm appetizer, Caramelized Foie Gras with Nuts, captures the joyous spirit of The Nutcracker. For the fish course, seasonal fish adorned with beet hollandaise draws inspiration from the vibrant scenes of Sleeping Beauty.

A Regal Main Course

The highlight of the experience is a luxurious main dish featuring domestic beef fillet drizzled with a rich truffle sauce, creating a visually stunning and flavor-packed representation of a royal banquet. This dish exemplifies the richness of flavors that lap over the palate, leaving an unforgettable impression.

As the evening draws to a close, a Pre-Dessert made of guava and elderflower evokes the lightness of the Flower Waltz, leading elegantly to a dessert that consists of seasonal strawberries and chocolate, presented in an afternoon tea style to conclude the narrative.

A Dining Experience Worthy of Royalty

To enhance the theme further, the restaurant offers specially decorated seats inspired by the Palace of Versailles for an exclusive experience. The table setting almost feels like a performance stage, elevating your dining journey into a truly majestic affair.

Join us for the Etoile Royale experience in Tokyo, where dining transcends the ordinary, bringing together the worlds of ballet and gastronomy in an enchanting evening that will undoubtedly captivate your senses.
