ABC Fine Wine & Spirits: Celebrating 14 Years of Support for Pediatric Cancer Research

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits: 14 Years of Compassionate Support for Pediatric Cancer

In a remarkable act of dedication, ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Florida's largest family-run wine and spirits retailer, has reaffirmed its commitment to fighting childhood cancer by renewing its partnership with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) for the fourteenth time. This collaboration is crucial for raising funds to support groundbreaking research aimed at less toxic and more effective treatments for children battling cancer.

From June 29 through September 1, 2025, patrons visiting any ABC store across Florida will have multiple ways to participate in this impactful campaign. They can round up their purchases or make direct donations at the checkout to contribute to the NPCF. Additionally, when customers opt to purchase select brands — such as Kim Crawford, Ruffino, Unshackled, Saldo, The Prisoner, Harvey & Harriet, Casa Noble, Mi Campo, and Corona (Extra and Sunbrew) — a portion of the proceeds will directly benefit the ongoing mission of the NPCF.

“This isn’t merely about raising funds; it’s also about fostering hope,” emphasizes Dave Larue, the Executive Vice President of Sales at ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. In 2024 alone, with immense support from their patrons and partners like Constellation Brands, they successfully gathered $315,000, contributing to a cumulative donation exceeding $2.3 million to date. This money supports vital research endeavors aimed at providing effective treatments while minimizing adverse effects for pediatric cancer patients.

The stark reality is that approximately 43 children are diagnosed with cancer each day in the United States. ABC Fine Wine & Spirits remains undeterred in its mission to provide assistance to these children and families by encouraging guests to contribute both financially and emotionally to this critical cause.

David Frazer, CEO of the NPCF, expressed his gratitude: “We are profoundly thankful for the unwavering support ABC Fine Wine & Spirits and Constellation Brands have shown throughout the years. Fourteen years of unwavering partnership means enabling groundbreaking research and extending brighter futures to children across the nation.”

The mission of the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation is to fund innovative research and clinical trials that find less toxic, more effective treatments for childhood cancer, ultimately looking to improve survival rates and alleviate side effects from current treatments. Since its inception, the NPCF has generously allocated over $37 million to this noble cause and launched more than 28 significant project initiatives through collegial partnerships with over 40 hospitals and eminent scientists.
