DuPont has announced the publication of its 2026 Sustainability Report, revealing major strides made in 2025 toward achieving its climate and sustainability objectives. The report not only highlights the success of initiatives undertaken in the past year but also delineates nine ambitious goals set for 2035.

Scott Collick, Chief Sustainability Officer at DuPont, emphasized the company's commitment to sustainability, linking it to long-term value creation and growth. He stated, "The progress outlined in our 2026 Sustainability Report reflects the dedication of our teams and underscores how sustainability is embedded in DuPont's strategy that drives growth and consistent execution." This emphasizes that sustainability is not just an add-on but a fundamental part of their operational ethos.

The report details DuPont's collaboration with customers to develop sustainably advantaged products, improve energy efficiency, and lessen its climate impact by extending sustainability expectations throughout its supply chain. Key highlights include:

1. Revenue Growth from Innovative Products: DuPont reported that over 35% of its revenue originated from products launched in the last five years, and they expect almost 80% of their active innovation portfolio to provide sustainable advantages to their customers.

2. Reduction in Greenhouse Gas Emissions: The company achieved a 76% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions when compared to a 2019 baseline, along with a 66% reduction in Scope 3 emissions since 2020. DuPont remains on track to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.

3. Renewable Energy Usage: Approximately 50% of the electricity used across DuPont's operations now comes from renewable sources. Notably, this includes 100% of the electricity used in its manufacturing operations in Europe, highlighting their commitment to renewable energy integration.

4. Implementation of Waste Programs: The company has implemented 4R programs at 78% of its locations worldwide, aimed at minimizing waste and maximizing resource efficiency, which is a crucial step in promoting sustainability in their operational practices.

5. Safety Achievements: DuPont also celebrated its safest operational year on record, achieving significant safety milestones with 88% of its sites reporting zero recordable injuries or illnesses, underscoring their commitment to employee safety alongside sustainability goals.

In addition to these accomplishments, DuPont has announced its 2035 Goals, which center around sustainable innovation, resilient operations, and community engagement, all executed with strong governance.
