On September 6, 2026, the Shengjing Bank Shenyang Marathon took place in the heart of Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning province in northeastern China. This vibrant event attracted approximately 22,000 participants, showcasing the growing international appeal of urban marathons in recent years. The marathon featured around 10,000 runners in the full marathon event and an additional 12,000 participants in the half marathon race, all commencing from the Shenyang Olympic Sports Center.
