Murasaki Izakaya Announces the Tohoku Gourmet Journey Festival 2026
Murasaki Izakaya is set to celebrate the flavors of Northern Japan with its 'Tohoku Gourmet Journey Festival 2026' starting from May 18, 2026. This festival will run until July 5, allowing food lovers to indulge in exquisite regional dishes from Japan's Tohoku region.
The festival features a range of delicious local specialties that reflect the diverse culinary heritage of Tohoku. Guests can expect to taste mouthwatering dishes such as
Miso Tampo from Akita,
Kisennuma Hormone from Miyagi,
Ankake Katsu Don from Iwate, and many more. Each dish has been carefully selected to showcase the unique flavors that Tohoku is known for.
