This free, family-friendly event will take place at Loudermilk Conference Center on January 25, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM.

The expo features a collaborative environment where parents and students can connect with representatives from 75 different schools, including traditional public schools, public charters, magnets, private institutions, as well as options for online learning, homeschooling, and microschooling. This event aims to help families find the most suitable educational setting for their children, ensuring that every child’s unique educational needs are met.

One of the highlights of this year’s event is the introduction of the Georgia Promise Scholarship Act, which provides a $6,500 scholarship for eligible students starting in the 2025-2026 school year. This initiative significantly enhances access to various educational opportunities, such as private schools and specialized tutoring. The school choice expo represents a golden opportunity for families to explore these new possibilities and meet directly with various educational providers.

Steven Quinn, the state outreach director for GeorgiaCAN, stated, "The Atlanta School Choice Expo creates an opportunity for families to explore all their educational options in one place. By bringing together diverse learning providers under one roof, we're helping ensure every family can find the educational environment that best serves their children."

In addition to insightful interactions with school representatives, event attendees can enjoy complimentary snacks and participate in various fun activities, including photo booths, balloon artists, and music provided by a DJ. It’s designed to be an enriching experience for families, making the process of exploring educational opportunities engaging and enjoyable.

The expo aligns with National School Choice Week 2025, which celebrates educational freedom, featuring over 27,000 events nationally focused on promoting various learning opportunities from January 26 to February 1. The Atlanta School Choice Expo stands as one of the largest celebrations of school choice in Georgia, providing a platform for parents and students to engage meaningfully with potential educational avenues.
