Strategic Collaboration for Sustainable Energy Storage

On June 23, HyperStrong, renowned for its innovative battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions, and Repono AB, a key player in large-scale energy storage projects in Europe, formalized a strategic collaboration. This partnership aims to jointly develop 1.4GWh of grid-scale energy storage across Europe by the year 2027, marking a significant milestone in the energy transition journey.

The collaboration merges the strengths of both companies to accelerate the deployment of electric energy storage systems. HyperStrong brings comprehensive system integration capabilities and a wealth of experience from over 300 energy storage projects, while Repono contributes its expertise in project development, focusing on site development, permitting, and grid interconnection. Together, they will work toward establishing a robust infrastructure for energy storage, fundamentally supporting Europe’s ambitions concerning sustainable energy practices and industrial resilience.
