Experience the Magic of Fiji Healing in the Planetarium

Get ready to embark on an enchanting journey with the latest production from the Konica Minolta Planetarium. Titled 'Fiji Healing: Southern Cross and the Island of Happiness', this extraordinary planetarium experience will transport you to the idyllic waters and breathtaking landscapes of the Republic of Fiji. Scheduled to premiere on January 23, 2026, at the Planetarium Tenku in Sumida, Tokyo, the show will subsequently be screened at Planetaria TOKYO in Yurakucho on February 6, 2026, and at Planetarium Manten in Ikebukuro on February 20, 2026.

A Soothing Narrative by Takuya Eguchi

The much-loved voice actor Takuya Eguchi lends his narration to this immersive experience. His calm and soothing voice aims to guide you through Fiji's lush environment and rich culture, creating a serene atmosphere that feels as if you're right there on the islands enjoying the stunning night sky.

Discover Fiji: A Paradise of Happiness

Fiji, located in the South Pacific, is renowned for its stunning biodiversity and is often referred to as the happiest country in the world due to its high levels of subjective well-being. The production invites viewers to experience this tropical paradise through its unique narrative and stunning visuals that showcase the vibrant flora and fauna of Fiji. While you're captivated by the stories of life in Fiji, you’ll also be surrounded by the exquisite fragrances of original aromas designed to enhance the experience.

An Exclusive Starry View: The Southern Cross

As a planet located in the Southern Hemisphere, Fiji offers a spectacular night sky that differs greatly from what we can see in Japan. One of the focal points of the show is the Southern Cross, a constellation that’s a familiar sight to sailors and adventurers navigating the seas. This extraordinary group of stars will illuminate your evening, making you feel as if you're lying on the beaches of Fiji, gazing up at the celestial expanse.

Aromatherapy: A Multi-Sensory Journey

One of the standout features of 'Fiji Healing' is its integration of aroma into the planetarium experience. During the show, two specially curated fragrances will accompany the visuals:
1. Fiji Blue: This aroma captures the essence of Fiji's blue seas and lazy beach days. With marine notes blended with coconut and tropical fruits, it embodies the gentle ocean breeze and tranquil moments on the shore.
2. Fiji Flower: This scent is inspired by the vibrant blossoms found throughout the islands. Centered around the national flower, the cattleya orchid, and complemented by the sweet plumeria, hibiscus, and ylang-ylang, this aroma offers a beautiful representation of Fiji's floral beauty.

Meet the Creative Minds Behind the Production

Music for this unique experience is provided by Yuichi Ohata, a talented singer-songwriter and guitarist. With ten original albums to his name along with various cover and instrumental works, Ohata's music adds another layer of enjoyment to the planetarium experience.

Tickets and Viewing Information

Tickets will be available for Starry Members from noon seven days prior to the screening, with general sales starting five days in advance. It's essential to note that due to the nature of the Healing Planetarium, entry for pre-school children is not allowed.
