  • - Banking and Shopping Tasks: 11% allow AI to manage shopping carts and banking tasks seamlessly.

Interestingly, even those who haven’t yet tried autonomous AI show openness to its potential. A significant portion of respondents expressed a desire for AI to handle tasks such as applying discounts at checkout (36%) and dealing with customer service issues (34%), indicating a growing trust in AI’s capability.

Notably, the report identifies eight 'Pioneer' markets - India, Mainland China, Brazil, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Hong Kong, and South Korea - where AI adoption is significantly higher. Collectively, 94% of respondents in these markets reportedly use AI, and 24% have already interacted with autonomous AI. Conversely, other regions fall into 'Transitional' and 'Lagging' categories, where AI adoption is slower and more selective.
