Run! Run! Run!, in December this year. This event will take place at the
Toshima Civic Center in the vibrant city of
Tokyo, organized by the
Toshima Mirai Culture Foundation under the leadership of Chairman
Naoto Aiba. The performance promises to be a delightful spectacle for audiences of all ages.
The unique aspect of this performance lies in
mime, which communicates without the use of words. This non-verbal art form transcends language barriers, making it accessible to children and families from diverse backgrounds. A special
Child Theater show will be held where infants are welcome, and it’s perfectly fine for them to cry or chatter during the performance. This inclusive show allows participants from 0 years of age, while the general shows are accessible to children aged 3 and older. To enhance accessibility, a sign language interpretation service will also be available on specific show dates; further details can be found on the official website.

Established in 2002, the Naoki Iimuro Mime Company focuses on creating and performing original works that primarily utilize mime as an expressive medium. Led by the talented mime artist
Naoki Iimuro, the company trains its actors in a unique system that allows them to craft powerful, emotional performances without relying on spoken language. With a base in the Kansai region, the company actively performs both domestically and internationally, contributing to the development of collective mime theater in Japan.
